First EPC

ReNew Campaign

Through our RENEW campaign we are working towards and praying for more families, more transformed lives, more light in/out of our facility and more hope in more lives. God challenges us to a life of faith, hope and love. Our RENEW campaign is a big step of faith, “but with God all things are possible.” Matt. 19: 26. We are excited to see how God will work in our lives as we pray for each other, for those who need the hope of the world in their lives and for the success of His vision He has given us at First EPC.

Our RENEW campaign helps us fulfill our mission of “Leading Generations to Bless the World through the Redeeming Love of Jesus.” Just as Adam was assigned to take care of the garden, we too have an assignment to not only take care of our house but to be good stewards of it for future ministry. God has given us an opportunity to REVIVE our church’s look and bring new life to First EPC. We trust the Lord will REVIVE our hearts and minds to make His priorities our priorities in this season.

Conceptual Drawings and Design

Through our work with Mitsch Design, they have helped to bring our ideas into reality. Well, something we can actually view, instead of words on a page. In a presentation to Session on 1/17, Darin Claxtin, our principal architect, shared what our facility could look like in the future, see link below. The improvements shown include a new West facing entrance, increased overflow space for Fellowship Hall, new and expanded kitchen with 2nd story shower room and Great Banquet storage, new South entrance that includes an ADA-compliant covered path and new welcoming area for office/Little School visitors, not to mention new bathrooms on the first a second floor that are ADA-compliant. While the intent of ReNew is to improve all of our facility, this is just a starting point to springboard off of!
